Franklin D. Roosevelt, also known as FDR, was the 32nd President of the United States, serving from 1933 to 1945. He was so popular back then that he was elected four times in a row! FDR guided the United States through the Great Depression, Prohibition, and WWII. He also started the New Deal, which ushered in a slew of social and economic changes.
