To his surprise, he saw two quotes from Patricia. One of them was for $4,000, which was meant to pay for a new fence. The other one was for $6,000, which was supposed to replace the lawn. Kristopher did not have that type of money on him. In fact, he was all out after spending his last dime on the fireworks. He showed the quotes to his dad. After seeing that it was written on Microsoft Word and had no company name or logo, the old man told Kristopher, “Son, don’t you give that con artist a single dime.”
