Shirley Temple
Shirley Temple was awarded a special youth Oscar at seven for her contribution to film in the year 1935. By age 22, Temple had lost interest in acting entirely. As a politician and diplomat, she returned to the spotlight in the 1960s and, in 1989, as the US ambassador to Czechoslovakia.
