Taking into account that NCIS is on its 15th season – we’re excited! Not all series have such a shelf span, but we have the genius authors to thank and characters to worship. Especially the leading ladies of NCIS, and why is that? We want to honor a performance that places females front and center, in powerful positions that others will look up to and respect. In a moment of crazy unrest, we thank the feminist core of NCIS – so we’ve put together the most unforgettable ladies of NCIS and what they’re doing off-script. Only take a peek for yourself!

Unfortunately, we’ll have to say farewell to our Caf-Pow chugging Abby as she’s scheduled to quit the program at the end of season 15. However, when it comes to Abby, well, here’s what Perrette had to suggest, “[I] wouldn’t call herself anything but Abby…What she represents is a smart, capable chick that cannot be reduced to a stereotype.” Preach, kid, preach.
