It meant that if a kid ran away from their home numerous times and reported to the officials in that current year, all the running attempts would be recorded in the NCIC separately. All would be counted in the total of missing kids in that year. It would also affect the total value if the person were withdrawn or updated. The reports would help us determine if there were still many children who were still missing every year.
