Sophia Loren came to prominence after her role as Cesira in the 1961 film Two Women. The whole performance earned her a Grammy Award for Best Actress, and she went on to win numerous other awards throughout her career. When Loren and her late husband, Carlo Ponti, moved into their 19th century 50-room mansion after their marriage, he got her the house of her (or anyone’s) fantasies. In 2018, the 1,300-square-meter estate was put on the market for $22 million. This beauty, which was located in the Appian Way Park, had the most rustic yet elegant interiors.
