Ali MacGraw is one of very few Hollywood actresses who have graciously aged over the years. She has learned to appreciate animals since her retirement, despite her wrinkles and strands of grey hair. When her Malibu home caught fire in 1993, she chose a change of environment. MacGraw has lived in Santa Fe since then, in what she refers to as her “little cottage.” She is becoming a part of the area’s private society after living there for over 25 years. In 2009, MacGraw announced her retirement from acting, and she has spent the majority of her time since then volunteering for animal welfare organizations.
