Jack Nicholson – $6.5 Million, Mulholland Drive
Mulholland Drive is no random person to Jack Nicholson. In reality, since 1969, the actor-director has owned a piece of land from there. Nicholson’s ownership has grown over the years, and he now owns four properties on Mulholland Drive. One of these properties (his most recent purchase) is the home of fellow actor Marlon Brando, which was put up for sale after his death in 2004. Nicholson intended to tear down the house, which occupied nearly 40,000 square feet of land and replace it with frangipani flowers. Isn’t it weird that they spent $6.5 million to do just that?
