In the image is Josef Stalin at the age of 23 in 1901, he still had more than two decades before becoming the head of the Politburo. He has extended his country’s borders, taken Russia to the nuclear and industrial age, and defeated fascism. Sadly, by going after enemies and collectivizing agriculture, he also killed hundreds of thousands of his people.
