Rudolf Nureyev – Il Gallo Lungo, $2.4 Million
If you are interested in ballet, you might be familiar with this name. Rudolf Nureyev shelled out $2.4 million when he purchased a dolphin-shaped island called the Il Gallo Lungo Island in the ‘80s. After his passing, the island was converted into a private holiday destination in 1992. You can enjoy a week in the mansion of the late dancer if you have $55,000 to $150,000 on you. He hailed from the Soviet Union and made a name for himself across the globe. Sadly, he died of AIDS at the age of 54. Among other things, he worked on ballet productions and performances of Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, and Swan Lake.
