With the billions they have between them, David and Frederick Barclay love to invest in real estate. The twins bought Brecqhou Island in 1993. Reports say that the island has a value of $4.3 million. They had to halt construction on the island in 2015 to make way for maintenance. This was the reason they had no choice but to hit the brakes on the construction of the $76 million mansion there. In 2019, the twins allegedly had a net worth of about $855 million. They also have retail and media businesses.
