Even if they didn’t plan for the complete “rustic farmhouse appearance,” some folks believe shiplap is acceptable in their homes. It might look fantastic for the first five years, but after that, it’ll just look like the 1950s carpeted bathroom. We shouldn’t even get started on the stickers that resemble shiplap wallpaper. That would be the worst option available to us.
