Drew Barrymore hails from the famous Barrymore family, so she was pretty much raised in the spotlight. She is one of the few surviving members of the show biz clan. Aside from her acting chops, she also got the good looks of her grandfather. There was no bigger star than John Barrymore during the ‘20s and ‘30s. However, Drew also suffered from substance abuse like other members of the family did. Her dad and grandpa both died from complications related to alcoholism. She was able to overcome her issues by going to rehab at the tender age of 14.
