Jimmy Carter – Age 94
Jimmy Carter was born in Georgia and worked on submarines for the Navy. Carter was strongly opposed to racial segregation and was motivated to be a Civil Rights Movement activist. In 1977, he became President and enforced the creation of the education and energy departments. From his political career, he shifted to supporting charitable causes. Up until now, via the Carter Center, he was still championing civil rights.
