Gena Rowlands – Age 89
Gena Rowlands, aged 89, had a career spanning more than six decades and had a very desirable portfolio. She was married to John Cassavetes, the actor-director. For ten years, the couple worked together in films. Four Emmy Awards and two Golden Globe Awards went to Gena. For her contributions and performances, she even got an Honorary Academy Award three years ago. John died last year in 1989, and only after more than two decades had she remarried. In 2012, she married a retired businessman named Robert Forrest.
