Ibtihaj Muhammad
Fencing would not normally garner much attention from other people. However, Ibtihaj Muhammad placed the sport in the must-watch list ever since she competed at the Olympics last 2016. Ibtihaj Muhammad was honored to be the first female Muslim-American to win an Olympic medal. Ibtihaj Muhammad and her team won a bronze medal for fencing. Ibtihaj Muhammad managed to have a Barbie tailored and inspired after her, and it was pretty cool and a big deal. There was also a photo of her that was taken during Glamour’s 2017 Women of the Year Awards.
