Newfoundland – Humphrey Bogart’s sweet-tempered Buddy
Humphrey Bogart’s favorite pet was a boxer. His love for dogs, though, extends to a variety of breeds. Humphrey’s first cherished puppy was a Newfoundland called Cappy. Newfoundland is a dog breed that originated in Newfoundland and is known for its large size and strength. The breed was a highly trained and adaptable dog who could operate on land or at sea. They were both excellent swimmers. Newfoundland is a patient breed of dog that makes an excellent nanny dog. Humprey chose Newfoundland as a pet for his daughters, Stevie and Leslie, because it was the ideal friend.
