We are not exaggerating when we say that Etta James is iconic. This amazing musician changed the genres of jazz, soul, and blues. It was always a lot of fun to listen to her singing “I’d Rather Go Blind,” “The Wallflower,” “At Last,” and “Something’s Got a Hold on Me.” Mind you, this is barely the tip of the iceberg. Apart from this, the singer has been given credit to bridge the gap between R&B and rock. You might not have expected this, but her name is even in the Rock and Roll Hall of fame!
