The singer is best known for hit songs such as “Family Affair” and “Without You.” According to Billboard, the latter is the greatest R&B track in history. She has tried her luck in acting as well. In the past, she had a big part in Mudbound. Not only that, but she also received an Academy Award nomination for this. How awesome is that? More recently, she appeared in the Netflix series Umbrella Academy.
