If you have not heard of it before, the premise is that singles spend the summer with one another on a tropical island. They are then enticed to pair off and hook up with the promise of money, victory, and romance by the end of it all. According to Reddit, everything about the show from the intimate scenes to the arguments is scripted. Only the most “realistic” takes are shown on TV.
