Being Grateful
All of the elephants turned their heads toward the rescuers and locals who helped rescue the baby elephant after crossing the farmland. As they raised their trunks, they all made the same sound, which was very different from the one they had made before calling for help. That time, the noise seemed to be alive – perhaps it was a way of saying “thank you” to everyone who cared about the elephants and helped them. This is yet another example of animals having feelings.
