Fed Alpha Armored Car
When it was time to replace the HUVEE, the Fed Alpha program was considered an early contender. However, it is now kept alive as a technology demonstrator for combat designs in the future. The hybrid engine makes it one of the most fuel-efficient armored vehicles on the planet. It burns 70 percent as much gas as an armored Humvee but offers the same armor protection, cargo capacity, and speed. It is unique among military vehicles and comes with a built-in solar panel that can be used to recharge.
