Last 2006, Bradley Cooper was well-known mainly because of Alias and was the douchebag fiancé of Rachel McAdams in Wedding Crashers. He was still sober because The Hangover only happened after several years passed. Both Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Esposito starred on television shows that ended in that year after one season. The one Bradley Cooper starred in was Fox’s Kitchen Confidential, and it was based on Anthony Bourdain’s best-selling book. As for Jennifer, she starred in the W.B. drama Related. In the case of Bradley and Jennifer, the timing was everything because they had some time and space in between projects for them to know more about each other and to get invested in the relationship. The two of them were engaged in October 2006 and decided to get married on December 21, 2006, in the south of France. However, Jennifer Esposito filed for their divorce on May 1, 2007. The reason was irreconcilable differences. It was reported that the decision was mutual and that they had already been separated for quite a while. Funnily enough, though, the two of them had only been married for about four months. Their divorce was finalized in November 2007. In an interview with The Howard Stern Show last 2011, Bradley mentioned, “It was just something that happened. The good thing is, we both realized it…Sometimes you just realize it. It just wasn’t right. It’s interesting…things happen!” As for Jennifer Esposito, she said that he had a “mean, cold side, and a personality that could flip on a dime. The relationship was about him and what he needed, and nothing else. I was a non-issue. I became sidelined from my life, my needs, my health. I became unfortunate, and I felt very alone, but I stayed in the relationship.” Also, she even started to cook and continuously bake “to please my unpleasable boyfriend.” She remembered attending an inspiring lecture and meditation at Agape. She heard about the motivational talk when she watched Oprah, and after her attendance, this inspired her to stop trying to fix their relationship. In just one week, everything was over between the two of them.
