Why He Was Not Present At The Event
Even though he tries his best to attend the awards shows he gets invited to, there are times when he can’t help but miss the events. In 2018, Kenny Chesney was unable to go to the Country Music Awards. He was due to perform at the said event and was nominated for two awards. Once more, he received a nomination for the Entertainer of the Year award. The other one was for the Musical Event of the Year category. He won the latter, but he could not claim the prize to a sudden bereavement in his family. A person close to him passed away, so he opted to stay home to grieve with his loved ones. If you ask us, this is a perfectly understandable reason. It simply could not be helped.
