The Morning After
The following day, Joe poured himself a drink of orange juice and questioned his girlfriend about the missing meals. To his astonishment, she denied everything. Joe didn’t want to call his fiancée a liar, but he was aware of something strange going on. Perhaps she was a sleepwalker without realizing it. He could have been! Nonetheless, gathering proof was the only way to be specific, but what Joe eventually discovered would make him sick to his stomach.
