Joke Gone Wrong
Jokes are often a good way to help lighten up a tough situation, but using it to soften the blow of a breakup? Probably not a good idea. The joke may seem funny if you hear it used on someone, but it obviously would not be funny anymore if it happens to you. It is not much of a surprise to think why the now-single person had a hard time believing that joke, and we have no idea how the person coped after receiving the supposed “joke.” If one thing is certain, breakup jokes are not funny when it is used to break up and is done through text.
