The truth is that compared to the other entries on the list, the Death Wish reboot did not perform too badly. Even so, it only raked in $34 million. This is pretty dismal when you consider that it cost $30 million to make. It did not help that it came out less than a month after the Parkland mass shooting. Even worse, the Las Vegas mass shooting took place several days before its release.
