When it comes to controversies, The Rolling Stones have seen their fair share. They released “Sympathy for the Devil” from “Beggars Banquet” in 1968. This was not an outlier, and it caused consternation among religious groups who believed they were worshiping the devil. Rolling Stone interviewed them in 1995.
