Another Royal Engagement
Many people are unaware that Catherine and William had a brief breakup for a few years before getting back together and then getting engaged while on vacation in Kenya. William gave Catherine an engagement ring that had belonged to his mother, Princess Diana. The wedding was then scheduled to take place in Westminster Abbey, London, in April of the following year.
