Great Dane
Tall and majestic looking dogs are Great Danes. The size, particularly if they are animals and small kids, is somewhat overpowering. They are a gentle breed, but they are hard to handle in case something goes wrong. A healthy, grown-up Great Dane can weigh over 100 pounds. They are also powerful and need a reliable individual who can take them out for exercise and routine walks in the neighborhood.
