Afghan Hound
Originally, this breed of dog was bred to guard, and in both the deserts and the mountains of Afghanistan, they are used to hunting large prey. They need a headstrong owner that they believe is a pack leader. If they feel danger, they might attack, so it’s important to be gentle, calm, and collected when interacting with this breed. At 24 to 26 inches tall at the shoulder, the Afghan Hound also has a tall physique. Kids need to be careful around this breed.
