Baby Otter
Baby otters are called pups or kittens and generally stay close to their mothers until they are a year old. Usually, by the time they reach 2 months old, the pups are able to swim. By nature, they are quite playful, especially with other pups. These mammals are semiaquatic and generally live off of fish and some birds. Did you know that there are roughly 13 different species of otters, and sadly their population is decreasing year by year.
