Andre the Giant (1966-1993)
Whether you’re a wrestling fan or not, you’re bound to have heard about Andre the Giant. On many occasions he has been called “The Eighth Wonder of the World,” He has been unbeaten for 15 years! It was not until Wrestlemania III that he met his match when he battled against Hulk Hogan, who bodyslammed and leg dropped him into submission. Did you know that he also played Fezzick in The Princess Bride? He died in 1993 and was nothing short of tragic.
