Pam Grier
Pam Suzette Grier was now 71 years of age. She was born on May 26, 1949, at Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She was a well-known actress and was famous because of her strong and courageous roles for a few African American centered movies during the ’70s. Her career in acting started when she appeared in Jack Hill’s Coffy. She proceeded to appear in other films like The Man With The Iron Fist. She also played a role in The L Word, a television series. Pam Grier was a huge influence on the black culture, and she paved the path for other African American performers in the industry during the peak of her fame. Even though the 1970s had already ended, Pam continued to grow and shine in ways that only she could. She did not have any competition when she auditioned for the role of Foxy Brown in Jacki Brown, a classic of Quentin Tarantino. She was still widely acclaimed up until the present day.
