Loretta Swit
Loretta Jane Switt, now at age 82, was born on November 4, 1937, in Passaic, New Jersey. She was an American stage and television actress. She was most known for her role as a nurse in the tv series M*A*S*H. She was one of the four main actors of the show from its first season up until its eleventh and final season. She earned two Emmy Awards because of her role in M*A*S*H. Her portrayal in that tv series was her biggest role. However, she continued to appear and act for other small budget films and television series. After a couple of years, she decided to take a step back from the spotlight and focused on jewelry design and fighting for animal rights instead.
