Lisa Whelchel
Lisa Whelchel started young in her acting career as she played one of the Mouseketeer on The New Mickey Mouse Club at the age of 12 in 1977. From then she played the role of the nine-year-old preppy and wealthy Blair Warner on The Facts of Life. She remained on the show for almost a decade, which transformed her career massively. She was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Inspirational Performance for her contemporary album All Because of You. Whelchel was a participant of the reality series Survivor: Philippines and bagged second place. Voted as a fan favorite, she was awarded $100,000. She then stepped into the world of adult comedy and starred in A Madea Christmas in 2013. In 2019, she became the host of her own show Collector’s Call and had recently semi-retired to take a step away from show business and focused on raising her three children.
