Tracey Gold
Most of us became familiar with Tracey Gold because of her memorable role as Carol Seaver in Growing Pains. She acted for that role for seven years. It was from the year 1985 up until the year 1992. Even though she was a renowned and famous star for television shows, she found it challenging to act in movies. One of the reasons she could not get the hang of it was because of the criticisms she received from the paparazzi because she struggled with anorexia. Thankfully, her co-actors and actresses stood by her and supported her battles. She decided to fight and did not give up. Later on, she landed a role that helped her battle depression. She played the role of Nancy Walsh in For the Love of Nancy way back in 1994. She rocked the industry because of this movie. She truly shone in her role because she could relate to the character she was portraying. The film was about the struggle with anorexia, and it was something she was already used to. Her acting in this film was deemed to be phenomenal, and she was able to prove her critics wrong.
