Packing Hacks You Should Know About

Traveling is stressful enough on its own, ao packing tends to just pile onto the already existing stress. Depending on where you’re going to and for how long, planning what to pack is crucial. If you forget something like a phone charger or lose your favorite earring, it could ruin the whole trip for you. That’s why you should know how to pack the right way, so you don’t forget anything or accidentally break something during your travels. This way, you’ll be able to make the most of your trip and truly enjoy it!

Roll, Don’t Fold

First thing’s first, do not fold your clothes. Not only will doing so wrinkle up your clothes, but it’ll waste all the precious luggage space you have. Instead, roll all your clothing items neatly.

Use Contact Lens Cases

Opt-out of lugging full-sized bottles of creams or makeup by using contact lens cases as travel bottles. This will control the amount you bring. Plus, it’ll be a small enough amount to bring on the plane itself.

Shower Cap

Don’t pack your shoes just like that – they’ll make all your clothing dirty! Grab a shower cap and place the shoes sole-side down inside them. This way they won’t be making anything in your suitcase dirty.

Carry An Empty Bottle

One essential thing to keep with you when traveling is an empty water bottle. You’ll be able to fill it up at the airport after going through security without having to pay $3 for a bottle of water.

Bring A Dryer Sheet

Clothes tend to get a stale smell when you’re traveling. To keep them nice-smelling and fresh, all you need to do is place a dryer sheet or two in your suitcase. So simple, yet so effective!

Use Cotton Pads

We all know the struggle of having a compact breaking while traveling, right? Well, to prevent that from happening again, just place a cotton pad inside your compacts and makeup palettes. It will keep the makeup from breaking.

Pack A Potholder

If you want to bring a flat iron or curling iron with, make sure to bring a potholder as well. When you’re packing, roll the iron into the potholder to keep it separate from the rest of your things. Also, when you use it at the hotel, you’ll be able to pack it quickly since you won’t need to wait as long for it to cool down!
