They were already in the process of cleaning up the property at the moment. This meant that Dally didn’t discover the check until they were about to close up shop. It was fortunate for her that she discovered it because it might have otherwise gotten misplaced. As soon as she realized what was within the folder, she immediately informed the owner of her discovery!
