Jane Austen
Jane Austen was an English novelist and was primarily known for her six novels. She was the predecessor of writers in the ‘chick-lit’ genre. Even though her books always came with passionate romances, the lady author did not seem to be interested in sharing her time with men. There was a time when she got engaged, but believe it or not, it did not even last an entire day! She was more devoted to her art.
