When reports surfaced that he had been kissing the American Idol contestant in public, he was still officially married to Jessica Ussery. It was difficult for him to save the marriage when he was caught red-handed, no matter how much he wanted to. Ussery divorced him in 2013. After that, he married Kerr two years later. They now have two children together.
