Bruce Springsteen and Pattie Scialfa met in the early 1980s. After that, he invited her to join him on his tour. Although he couldn’t help but be attracted to Julianne Phillips, they had instant chemistry. He married the latter but soon realized she was not the right woman for him. The Boss divorced his wife at the time after he and Scialfa went on another tour and eventually began a relationship with his friend. Springsteen and Scialfa married in 1991 and have been together ever since.
