A Grim Situation
Even years after giving birth to her twins, Nadya Suleman was still a subject of much speculation. Although many Americans adored her and her numerous children, her detractors did not back down and continued to voice their doubts. Unfortunately, this began to impair her willingness to raise her son, and several sources indicated that she was in a bad state and at a low point in her life. She likely felt like she was up against the universe, and despite having 14 children, she might have felt alone. Nadya struggled to raise her 14 children and had no alternative but to seek federal assistance, even though she was facing another struggle that government assistance couldn’t support her with.
