It’s really inconvenient when you need to glance at your GPS but don’t have a co-pilot to hold it up for you and don’t have one of those windows or air vent holders to hold your phone (and potentially dangerous). Using a rubber band to achieve the same result is actually relatively simple. If you loop it through a few vents on your center console and around the top and bottom of your phone, the tension will keep it in place.
