Making The Call
After talking to Camden, Nancy knew that she would have to call his father so that they could discuss her concerns. It is never easy to ask a child’s parent for information about their private lives, but if she really wanted to help Camden, she had to make the call. She looked up the little boy’s home phone number in the class record and proceeded to call his dad. The teacher asked the father one question which got him so perplexed he asked her to repeat what she had said.
