Baby Meerkat
Baby meerkats are called pups and are born underground where they are able to stay protected from predators. Meerkats can generally be found in southern Africa, and are typically distinguished by their long legs, broad heads, big eyes, and pointed snouts. This adorable little creature feeds off things like beetles, small birds, reptiles, and even plant material, among other things too. Meerkats are very sociable animals, which is why they form packs of 2-30 individuals. Did you know that meerkats are immune to venom and are highly intelligent?
