Kimila Ann Basinger already had a successful career in modeling, and this might be why she decided to switch and pursue a career in acting. Her debut was for the television show Gemini Man. Everyone saw the potential in her, and she appeared in quite a few television series and films during the ’70s. Kim was finally given a chance to look for the big screen in the ’80s. She became well-known for her role as Lynn Bracken in L.A. Confidential. Her role for this movie earned her an Oscar for Best Actress in a Supporting Role. She had acted together with Russell Crowe in The Nice Guys last 2016. She also appeared in Fifty Shades Darker last 2017.
