What Is The Real Deal With Wellness Beverages?

Collagen Supplements And Powders

Collagen is the factor that affects our skins elasticity, the occurrence of aging, and bone density. Thus, the new trend of drinking collagen supplements is to assist in the aforementioned, however, the truth is this needs to be drunk regularly and consistently for a difference to be seen. It affects different people differently, meaning that for some the collagen supplement will assist in hair-growth, strengthen bones and reduce signs of aging. The bottom line being the supplement ant hurt and if you have a little extra cash to try it out it can be worth it. These supplements are also now being enforced to treat joint pain, knee pain, and back pain. There are many options on the market such as collagen water and collagen powder, the powder can be mixed into water, coffee, or even smoothies and pancakes.

Matcha

Matcha is high in a specific catechin called EGCG, this specific catechin is believed to be something that has the ability to fight cancer cells in the body. It is also believed to prevent diseases such as diabetes and heart disease all whilst promoting weight-loss. The matcha trend is simply for you or against you. What we mean by this, is some love it and others truly dislike the taste of matcha. Matcha is just a mix of green tea that is concentrated and packed with antioxidants, thus, one cup of matcha is equivalent to 3 cups of green tea. Additionally, matcha is also great for your skin as EGCG reduces inflammation whilst the concentration of antioxidants will reduce acne.

Kombucha

Kombucha: you either love it or hate it. It is a fermented tea that has been around for thousands of years. It has similar benefits to tea, yes, but is also jam-packed with helpful probiotics. Kombucha has the ability to kill bacterium, prevent, and fight diseases such as heart disease, type 2 diabetes, and cancer. The biggest thing is that the Kombucha needs to be prepared correctly and carefully otherwise it can be harmful. Individuals who drink kombucha regularly have reported that it assists in aiding many of their chronic illnesses and issues. But, big but, there is not much actual evidence or scientific proof that suggests these things are true. Drinking kombucha is more like a myth and tradition, but hey, if it works for you why not.
